Update: i have tried the suggestion but it is still disabled. I already chose the date in white but still no option for the standard delivery free. Actually, the only option available is the priority delivery. You cannot select the Express and Standard option no matter what date to choose.
I would like to start a release. But the standard free release is not enabled under the date or release date. How to enable free standard delivery?

The system calculates automatically the type of delivery depending on the release date you’ve entered, the various options like an early delivery for the pitch as well as the date of the finalisation of the release.
Have you selected the Spotify pitch or editorial pitch for your release ?
These options require more days to process your release, and that would explain why the standard delivery option is not available. If you activated one of these options and want to keep it, you need to chose a later release date, so that there is enough time with a standard delivery. Otherwise you need to unselected the pitch option.
Also please note that a release date is not confirmed as long as you haven’t finished the distribution process and paid for the release. As days pass a delivery option can be changed by the system to accommodate the release date you’ve originally entered.
