Hi, I just came across the fact that in the titles every first letter of every word needs to be maisuc, the fact is that I have a very long title and it is horrible with this imposition. There are lots of titles of English songs on spotify that don’t respect this supposed “rule” (e.g. ‘Did you know that there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd’ by Lana del Rey, ‘How many miles’ by Mk.gee) how is this possible? Is there anything I can do? That totally ruins artistic freedom. On Distrokid for example is possible to do that. Can I for example flag the title as “Italian” event though it’s not or will you modify it anyway? With Italian language as far as I understood there’s no such imposition. Also why does it work this way on this platform??
@Carlos I saw that people are tagging you. Can you help me?

Hey @ubitedo,
This rule is mandatory and there’s no way to format your title differently. If you indicate the wrong language, your release will be rejected by our quality assurance team.
We are committed to providing good quality metadata to streaming platforms, which is why these rules are in place. If other distributors are not aligning with the DSP’s stylistic guidelines, it’s their choice
