Typo in Contributor Name and Wrong version of track

Hey guys! I just reviewed my recent release and there’s a few issues I noticed and would like to change. I looked at the “edit” feature on my iMusician portal but it doesn’t look like I can change these specific issues. Please let me know if you can help with this. Thanks so much!

  • • Release title
    • Alaya Rose - Open Wound
  • The exact track(s) needing changes:
    The Track “Dead to You” is the wrong version (correct version can be downloaded here)
  • The incorrect and correct contributor name(s)
    • Alejandro Cecpedes changed to Alejandro Cespedes on every track

Hi!

Carlos,
Does this method allow for changing the name of a contributor? I don’t see that in the list of items of things that can be changed. And just to confirm I can upload a different audio file to replace a current released track? I just don’t want to pay for the upgrade to make these changes if I learn I can’t change these specific things.

If you read the article carefully, you’ll see that we’ve listed what cannot be modified :wink:

Yes, as long as your modification is in line with metadata requirements: Can I format the metadata however I want? | iMusician

Only if it’s an improvement of the master file. You cannot replace an audio file by a totally different track.
