Awesome! I just discovered I got the Artist wrong… it’s a classical piece recorded by an orchestra so I put the orchestra as main artist and didn’t mentionned me as a main artist as well (since I’m the composer, I’m not playing in the piece). When I try to edit, a message states I won’t be able to modify artists.
Could you please provide me with the Artist URI generated for the composer? If it has not been created, or if the release has been incorrectly mapped solely to the orchestra, is it possible to submit an update request (“Artist Separation / Mapping fix”) to Spotify so that the composer appears correctly as the Main Artist with his own profile. Thank you in advance.
Hey @RomainBC, in classical releases the composer is automatically credited as a main artist.
Unfortunately at the moment we only have access to the URI for FAME’S Studio Orchestra (which is the main artist you credited), however you’ll have access to your own URI once the release goes live ![]()
