Hello, three weeks ago, you asked Apple Music to correctly spell “e-NOV” (artist name + new profile on the platform) but unfortunately, it still hasn’t changed…
I still can’t promote my track released since September 14
Can you help me?
@e-NOV, the request has already been forwarded to Apple, it’s now up to them to make the necessary changes. Unfortunately at this stage there is nothing more we can do as this can only be taken care of by the platform directly
I would wait for a bit longer, but yes unfortunately there’s also the possibility that it won’t happen at all… Again, this is now up to Apple to take care of it.
I’m sorry to insist but I’m really trying to understand what’s wrong because I wouldn’t like Apple Music to make the same mistake every time for me and for other artists.
It’s a bit strange that this kind of problem was solved for all the artists I saw a request from, and sometimes in a very short time…
Some had much more common names.
My name isn’t taken by anyone else so I don’t understand how the metadata we encode isn’t respected.
So, apart from waiting a little longer.
What are the other solutions for this kind of problem?
-Remove my release from the platforms in hope that my artist profile will disappear and Apple Music will create a new right profile?
So I could start the process again to distribute my track as if it were a new track and maybe Apple Music would respect the way I wrote my name like all the other platforms.
-Modify my release on iMusician? (at least 4 working days)
I doubt this is the right option as there’s nothing to change on my side.
-Send a request back to Apple Music because the deadline has not been met or the request has not been considered or seen?
I’ve sent the request again to Apple, maybe that’ll solve the issue. At this stage there isn’t much that can be done either on your side or ours since, as I told you, only Apple can correct this.
