The number of streams shown in my monthly sales report is much lower than the number of plays shown in my Spotify for Artists report. This happens every month. For 2024, the total number of streams accounted by iMusician is 144 whereas Spotify reports a number of 418. I know that it is not a huge number of streams, but I would like know if there is something wrong here.
Hello @XNmusic, thanks for your inquiry. This is a common situation as Spotify runs detecting tools to identify which are the streams that can be monetized, i.e. they definitely invalidate the number of streams found as frauduelent.
In order to check, could you please send us the barcode and the screenshot of the SFA Analytics for the month of September for one specific release. We will check and get back to you!
