Wrong spotify artist

Hello iMusician Support Team,

I am writing to report a critical issue: my album has been published under the wrong artist name. This is a serious error that affects my visibility and artistic identity. This is the Album link :Unsupported browser

The album was supposed to be released under the name Jacob Yme, but it currently appears under a different artist profile → this is the wrong artist → Unsupported browser

I kindly ask you to take immediate action to correct this and attribute the release to the correct artist name, after that how can i Connect my app Spotify artist with my album ?

Please let me know the steps required to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.

Hey @YmeJac,

The release was distributed based on the information your provided us. The artist name you indicated during the order is Jacob, not Jacob Yme. It’s also what is indicated on your release’s artwork :point_down:


If you provided the wrong artist name, you can request a takedown and recreate it (make sure to indicate the right name this time & update the artwork accordingly). Note that if you do this, you won’t be able to keep your ISRCs, so all streams generated up to this point will be lost.

Thank you so much, for your reply and clarification.
It was indeed an error on my part — the correct artist name should be Jacob Yme, not “Jacob”. I also understand that the artwork must be updated accordingly.

I would like to proceed with the takedown so I can re-upload the release with the correct artist name and updated visuals.

Could you please let me know the exact steps to request the takedown via your platform?

Hi @Carlos

I’m having an issue with a duplicated file in my library. It keeps showing up in red on my release summary, even though I’ve updated the track titles and corrected the artist name and interpreter.

Despite these changes, the error remains, and I’m unable to proceed with publishing my album.

Could you please help me resolve this and ensure the album goes live correctly?
