Hello, as an artist, part of my catalog is licensed/synchronised by the company Music Vine. To this end, I had left the YouTube content ID free for all my tracks (this is mandatory for sync).
However, I just received a claim from a 3rd party (looks like Kontor New Media and SACEM?), and Music Vine specifically asked me to resolve the issue. Is it possible that someone took ownership cntent ID of this track without my consent? How to find out who did it ? or is there a way to force the youtube content ID to be free for that specific track ?
In the meantime, a person that used my music as soundtrack for his video saw him blocked and because of that my track is banished from the catalog !! Looking forward to get your feedback and help me resolve this situation.
Thanks, if you need the name and details of that track I can specify it, but not sure how relevant it is on this forum.
Looks like there’s some confusion on Music Vine’s end. You cannot get CID claims on a Facebook video since Content ID monetization is unique to the YouTube platform
Meta allows us to place certain accounts/pages on a whitelist, which essentially stops the claims. Could you please share the link to the account(s) we need to add to this whitelist ?
