Incorrect versions delivered to streaming platforms and download stores – request for selective takedown

Hello,

I’m writing regarding my release “Love and Music” by DJ Cianppy feat. Gina C.

After the release went live, I’ve noticed that all three audio versions were delivered to all platforms, which is incorrect and needs to be fixed via a selective takedown.

Current issue:
Streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, etc.) currently contain three versions
Download stores (Beatport and similar) also contain the Streaming Master, which should not be there.

This causes confusion for listeners and DJs and does not follow standard DSP delivery rules.

Correct configuration (please follow exactly):

  1. Streaming platforms (Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, Deezer, YouTube Music, etc.)

KEEP ONLY:
Love and Music (Streaming Edit)

REMOVE COMPLETELY:
Love and Music (Original Mix)
Love and Music (Extended Mix)

  1. Download / DJ stores (Beatport, Traxsource, Juno Download, etc.)

KEEP ONLY:
Love and Music (Original Mix)
Love and Music (Extended Mix)

REMOVE COMPLETELY:
Love and Music (Streaming Edit)

Please confirm once the incorrect versions have been taken down.

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,
DJ Cianppy

Hi,

Thank you for your reply. I have already reviewed the FAQ you linked (“Can I make modifications to my release?”). Unfortunately, it does not address my specific issue.

I am not requesting a general modification (artwork, track name, shop selection, etc.). What I need is a selective takedown of specific versions / ISRCs that were uploaded by mistake, while keeping the correct version(s) of the release online.

And I would like to clarify that this situation was caused by an error on iMusician’s side, not by unclear instructions.
In the previous conversation (link below), the indications were explicit and unambiguous, yet the outcome did not follow those instructions.

Please confirm clearly:

Whether iMusician can perform a partial / selective takedown at ISRC level.
If yes, what exact information you need from me to proceed (ISRCs, stores, territories).
If not, please state this explicitly, as a full takedown is not acceptable in this case.

I need a concrete answer and instructions, not a general FAQ reference.

Best regards,
DJ Cianppy

okie, maybe I didn’t completely understand your question. Let’s see if @Carlos from the Team can help you better with this. :v:

Hey @jcarbonellt

No, it looks more like a misunderstanding. What I get from your request is that you intended to distribute the tracks on specific platforms depending on the version. However that is not (and has never been) possible if all your tracks are in the same release. Since you didn’t specify this in your initial post, so there was no way for us to know that’s wat you intended

If you want each track to be available on specific shops, you will have to create 3 separate releases for that.
